Although located in the heart of the village of Vidovići, House 11 is embraced by unspoiled nature.
Just in front of the house, green pastures stretch out, occasionally visited by wandering sheep. Beyond them, the tip of the Istrian Peninsula appears on the horizon, set against the endless blue of the Adriatic Sea. Watching the sunsets from House 11 is a truly breathtaking experience — the play of light and color over the landscape never ceases to amaze.
Dating back over 200 years, the house combines authentic Mediterranean architecture with contemporary comfort, offering approximately 110 square meters of living space spread across three levels.
The house can be entered either via the large south-facing terrace or through a separate entrance leading directly into the second-floor bedroom — a charming feature that reflects the traditional construction of the village.
On the first floor, the original stone oven — a relic of the house’s past — has been carefully preserved in the sitting room. The kitchen and dining area on this level form the lively heart of the home and open directly onto the spacious terrace with sea views, making it perfect for al fresco living.
The second floor features an additional bright living room, a generous bedroom with a mezzanine gallery, and a bathroom.
Above, the attic has been transformed into a charming and intimate bedroom for two — a favorite retreat for children and for those who appreciate cozy spaces beneath exposed beams.
During the restoration, great care was taken to preserve the original stone walls, traditionally plastered, and to use handcrafted wooden shutters in the classic olive green typical of the region.
Wherever possible, original materials and traditional craftsmanship were employed to ensure that House 11 retains its historic soul while offering the comforts of modern living.
House 11 is more than just a home — it is a place where history, nature, and contemporary Mediterranean living come together in perfect harmony.
